Learning outcomes

To introduce students to museum work, museum organisation and the principles of different types of museums through practical experience. To acquire the basic qualifications needed for museum work.

Contents

Six weeks (30 work days) of practical training at a professionally managed museum.

Teaching methods

Students agree on the internship with the responsible teacher and write a report on the training period.

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by internship report.

Further information

The internship may be compensated with previous museum experience, in which case the student writes the report from an angle which must be agreed upon individually.
