Learning outcomes

Students gain practical client work experience by becoming familiar with the activity fields of social work and by working under guidance in a social work field. Students acquire basic qualifications for professional client work.

Modes of study

Students work for eight weeks in practical customer service of social work, under the guidance of the university and a responsible teacher. During this period, students go through a variety of different types of client work through practice and learning assignment analyses. The assignments are processed in seminar meetings. In addition, students write a report on their practice period.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Students receive one grade that covers both Seminar of Practical Skills (A3b) and Social Work Practice (A3c). The grade is based on a joint evaluation of assignments and the report of Social Work Practice. The evaluation takes into account class participation and the teacher's evaluation regarding the practical period.
