Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students will
- be able to read different types of magazine articles and describe their contents
- be able to discuss current events in France and in other French-speaking countries
- be familiar with different sectors of the French-speaking countries (literature, politics, history, art)
- be able to express themselves in everyday situations
- be able to use French in professional contexts

Contents

Text analysis and discussions on different topics, analysis of the audiovisual material describing life in modern France, analysis on magazine articles (Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libération, etc.) concerning French everyday life, and various vocabulary exercises.
