KKSA23 GERMAN ORAL SKILLS AND WRITTEN COURSE 3 ECTS

German in school as a B2 or B3 language, Intermediate German Course II or equivalent skills (A2-B1 language proficiency level).

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of this course, students will
- be familiar with academic text types
- be able to write appropriate emails, take lecture notes and prepare a handout of their own presentations
- be able to draft contacts, discuss with the instructor about the studies, participate actively in seminar discussions and make an oral report

Contents

During this course, students practise studying strategies and communication skills needed for working and studying at a German university.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by active and regular participation, completed assignments and prepared oral presentation. Written and oral examinations will be held at the end of the course. The standard of the final examination is equivalent to the Test-Daf examination.
