General description

Provides students with thoughts on the effects of ethics and values in social work, on the way students look at the world and other people, and on their own set of values.

Learning outcomes

To help students personally in building ethically sustainable social work and in resolving conflicts which need ethical consideration.

Contents

- National and international ethical principles
- Different point of view into ethical thinking
- Considering the new challenges of social work, such as new expertise, managerialism and consumption

Modes of study

1) A literature examination on a general examination day of the faculty of Social Sciences or
2) an essay; topics must negotiated with the examiner

Evaluation

Numeric 1-5.
