General description

A book exam advancing the basic studies in Social Anthropology.

Learning outcomes

To introduce different social structures and cultural practices through case studies.

Contents

The literature opens new research angles to giving meanings in the interaction between the local and the global and the private and the public.

Teaching language

Finnish, English

Modes of study

Literature examination. Essay option must be discussed with the teacher beforehand. The availability of thematic seminars varies yearly.
