Learning outcomes

To understand the basic functions of civil society and the main forms of political participation.

Contents

The students will become familiar with main concepts, theories and research on civil society and political participation, with particular emphasis on the role of elections.

Modes of study

Lectures, a book exam (see literature) and/or a compensatory essay to be agreed on with the teacher in charge.
