General description

Students may take the course TRMUPK2, Introduction to Translation as a Process, see Courses offered for all Students of Translation Studies.

If students incorporate this course into their studies or electives, they complete a substitute course. This can be discussed with the lecturer in charge.

Learning outcomes

To introduce students to the different stages of a translation process, and to the roles of various factors.

Contents

Analysis of commission, translation and problem solving, translator's tools.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Pass/fail.
Evaluation by written exam.
