Learning outcomes

Enables students to see the connections between translation in practice and translation theory and to analytically present their translations.

Contents

Each student produces a translation and a commentary completely independently and receives feedback from other students, and prepares a seminar presentation, in which a seminar translation is linked to a more general theoretical issue.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Grade based on translations, commentaries, feedback, presentations and active class participation.
