Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to design and write high-quality documentation (user guides, product descriptions) that meets required usability criteria. Students are able to apply the principles of terminology work to the needs of an organisation.

Contents

Students analyse Finnish technical documentation, taking advantage
of usability heuristics, among others. The course includes individual assignments as well as a user guide project carried out in groups. In addition, the course gives an overview of technical language and the principles of terminology work and its applications in the corporate world.
