Economic research of a chosen topic by using the relevant theoretical and/or methodological tools.
Learning outcomes
The thesis aims at teaching the student 1) to use and integrate economic frameworks in assessing chosen research problems, and 2) to write balanced and substantial reports with sound economic argumentations.
Contents
The student can choose from two tracks concerning the thesis, 1) the research-oriented track that provides deep theoretical and methodological skills, and 2) the policy-oriented track that aims at providing the students professional expertise in conceptualisation, implementation and evaluation of public policies. The thesis is co-supervised by two professors, one from the home university and one from the host university.
