General description

A standard master level course in macroeconomics.

Learning outcomes

The course aims at 1) providing a coherent and balanced overview of all the aspects and development of macroeconomic thought, 2) teaching the basic modelling techniques of modern macroeconomics, and 3) developing ability to apply the macroeconomic frameworks in solving policy oriented problems.

Contents

Real macroeconomy, money, macroeconomic equilibrium, unemployment, inflation, cycles, growth, macroeconomic policy etc.

Finnish
