Learning outcomes

This course introduces consecutive interpreting of presentations and lectures and teaches how to prepare for an interpreting job and work together with the person whose speech you are interpreting.

Contents

Interpreting practices. Real interpreting jobs are used whenever possible.

Further information

This course is a part of the Interpreting Module (14-18 ECTS). The Interpreting Module gives students the opportunity to specialise in interpreting and the study of interpreting in their Advanced Studies. It is not obligatory to complete all the courses of the Module; students can also take individual courses of choice. The courses of the Interpreting Module will be organised only if the demand for them and the resources are sufficient.
