Learning outcomes

The goal of this course is to give a practical overview of the possibilities and limitations of the use of a computer in strengthening learning and teaching, and to provide competence for evaluating and constructing simple stand-alone instructional programs. The course familiarises the student with the possibilities of knowledge technology, hyper- and multimedia and electronic networks.

Contents

The possibilities and limitations of information and communications technology in education. The principles of designing, evaluating and implementing instructional programs. Tools for implementing instructional programs. The use of networks, multi and hypermedia as well as knowledge-based learning environments in education.
