: After completing the course, students will be able to describe the different stages of the research process and to finish a research project. Students are able to define a research problem, adapt scientific information and research methods critically, collect appropriate material, draw conclusions and interpret results, adapt the principles of academic writing and assess the research reports of others.
Contents
Students become familiar with the scientific research process, project management, research methods and the principles of academic writing. Students plan and carry out a study and write a Master's thesis. They also act as peer supervisors for other seminar participants. The course also includes information retrieval training at HUMANIKA library.
