The topic of the MA thesis is agreed on with the supervisor who, in most cases, is a subject professor. The MA student is encouraged to participate in the seminar after the four required periods, as well; a reading group convening at regular intervals is also a possibility. The finished thesis is approx. 60-80 pp in length (second subject thesis 30-40 pp). In addition to the content, the linguistic proficiency of the thesis is an important consideration as the work is evaluated; and particularly the scientific style.
