The thesis studies consist of Orientation to Thesis Seminar, the actual seminar and other supporting studies.

Further information

Because of the change in the degree system, the size of a Master's thesis is different in the old and new systems. In the old degree, the thesis constituted of half of all the advanced study credits (20 credit units out of 40), but in the new system, the thesis credits only make up for one third (40 ECTS out of 120). Instead, the new degree system consists of supporting thesis studies that did not exist separately in the old system. Hence a Master's thesis and its supporting studies make up for approximately half of both degrees.
