Learning outcomes

To introduce students to basic concepts in linguistics.

Contents

Application of basic concepts in phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics to the English language through a series of practical exercises.
Classwork involves discussion of questions on reading assignments prepared in advance.
