Introduction to a selection of literature on translation. Writing a critical summary or taking a book exam.

A critical summary or a book test on literature to be agreed with the person in charge of the course.

Evaluation

Numeric 1-5.

Study materials

Two of the following books must be read for the book exam: Stolze, R. 1999. Die Fachübersetzung; Pöchhacker, F. 2000. Dolmetschen; Risku, H. 2004. Translationsmanagement. The critical summary also consists of two books from the afore-mentioned list, or alternatively of some other books that students must discuss with the person in charge of the course. The other book for the summary can be replaced with articles.
