Learning outcomes

After a successful completion of this course, students will be familiar with the arguments behind the methodological choices done by the competing disciplines of international relations. In addition, they will have a deeper understanding of some methodological orientation as a part of international relations field discussion.

Lectures and an essay seminar based on separately defined methodological literature.

Lectures and related exercises (20 h).

Numeric 1-5.

Recommended year of study

Fourth year. The course is offered at the beginning of each term (period 1/3) and it should be completed during the first period of Master's Thesis Seminar I at the latest.
