English written skills / reading comprehension (3 ECTS) and English communicative skills (3 ECTS) completed (skill level B2).

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, the students will be
- able to understand and apply the basics of written communication in their work
- able to deal autonomously with written communication in the workplace using appropriate sources
- able to write documents related to written workplace communication
- able to use the terminology applicable to their field in communicative interaction
- able to follow the conventions governing academic and written communication
- able to take into account the cultural factors in the written communication of their field

Contents

During the course, the following topics are dealt with:
- analysing and managing information in the writing process
- selecting the style appropriate to the context
- putting forward objective arguments
- producing documents (application, report, project plan, e-mails)
