To become familiar with the basics and different approaches of empirical social scientific research. To learn the basic skills and knowledge of qualitative research, and to practice using independent research methods and methodological literacy of empirical research.

Research Method Studies are only meant for major students, who must have completed the faculty general studies courses Empirical Research Methods (3 ECTS) and Statistics and SPSS (5 ECTS) before taking Research Methods Studies.
