General description

The Cancer Biology course focuses on the basic principles of the development and progression of cancer.

Learning outcomes

The students will understand the main aspects of cancer biology and how different external and internal factors contribute to cancer development. They recognize the key processes involved in cancer progression and are able to understand the principles of cancer therapy.

Contents

The course will cover basic information on various aspects of cancer biology including the initiation and progression of cancer, cancer genetics, cancer diagnosis and pathology, cancer epidemiology, and cancer etiology.

Attendance in this course requires bachelor level knowledge on cell and molecular biology.
