Learning outcomes

Students learn to write good flawless scientific prose and develop their ability to make use of dictionaries, other manuals, and computer-based tools. The understanding of genres, different text types, and basic rhetorical forms is deepened.

Contents

Different types of Swedish texts are studied and compared with their Finnish equivalents. Vocabulary is increased through exercises and word tests. Written expression is developed according to the process model.
