Learning outcomes

To master the basics of Latin and to be able to study Latin sources when needed with the help of dictionaries and encyclopedias. To become familiar with the main points of Greek-Roman ancient history and cultural history.

Contents

A series of lectures, 56h, with a final examination or a book exam for which students read approximately 40-50 pages of Latin prose and approximately 800-900 verses of Latin poetry.
