Learning outcomes

The practical training will develop the student’s ability to apply statistical information and statistical skills in a real working environment. During the practical training, the student will gain an insight into the duties of the field and/or familiarise himself with some specialisation area of statistics.

Contents

The professor of statistics approves the training placement and practical training on the basis of a plan devised before the training period. The amount of credits awarded will be based on the duration and nature of the practical training.

Modes of study

The student will write a report on the practical training which along with a certificate from the employer will be delivered upon completion of the training period to the professor of statistics and to the person in charge of the supervision of the training in the workplace.

Evaluation

Pass/fail.

Recommended year of study

At the end of the Bachelor’s degree.
