General description

A training period preparing students for the working life.

Learning outcomes

The objective of the training is to make actual connections in the working life and to develop students' abilities of using their knowledge and skills in practice.

Contents

Students test and improve their working life skills and at the same time consider the working life issues comprehensively through social-scientific concepts.

Teaching language

Finnish

Modes of study

Students either acquire a job independently or through financial support granted by the department, or work as volunteers. They write a written report on the training period, the instructions for which can be found at the department homepage.

Evaluation

Pass/fail.
