Learning outcomes

The student is familiar with the theory and practice of security community building.

Contents

The course explores the leitmotiv of peaceful change in selected regional settings by 1) introducing the existing literature on regional security community building and 2) applying the findings of this literature to selected regional integration projects.

Lectures plus students’ papers and discussion: 12 h lectures and 12 h seminars. Students are expected to read articles/chapters during the lecture period and present their own papers in the seminar.
