Students with specialization in Peace and Conflict Research or History: the mode of study will be tailored for each student.
Students with specialization in Psychology: literature exam and seminar paper. Students will be able to analyse and argue about classic and contemporary theoretical questions that are specific to peace psychology. They know and understand different paradigms, models and theories and report the relevant literature.
Students with specialization in Social Anthropology: an essay based on agreed literature OR a seminar on anthropological theories and an essay. Students can identify various anthropological theoretical approaches, and link them to their other studies.
Students with specialization in International Relations: students complete the course unit POLKVS10 Kansainvälisen politiikan teoria ja metateoria - The Theory and metatheory of International Relations (10 ECTS)
Students with specialization in Administrative Science: students complete the course unit Peace Building as Manageable Consultative Process (10 ECTS) from Administrative Science.
