Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the questions of public administration in Finland and European Union. The course develops a fundamental understanding of public policy.

Contents

On completion of this course students should have a knowledge and understanding of: European Union, Finnish public administration, public policy, welfare state, governance.

Lectures (12 h, 2 ECTS) including articles and other materials specified during the lectures. Can be completed by writing a learning diary based on lectures.

Books (7 ECTS) can be completed by taking an exam or by writing essays according to the guidelines of the instructor
