Students learn how to select and apply research methods appropriate to their research problem.

Teaching methods

Participation in the workshop, which supports the start and progress of the thesis from the point of view of research method choices. In the workshop, students present ideas and work papers concerning their thesis and participate in the work concerning the research method questions of other students.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Pass/fail.
Acceptable performance is based on 1) working on a preparatory research plan and 2) active participation in the workshop simultaneously with the Master's thesis seminar.
