Learning outcomes

The student will write and present a Master's thesis with solid theoretical and methodological basis in the area relevant to the programme.

Contents

The aim of the thesis is to show in-depth knowledge of the chosen topic, mastery of appropriate theories and research methods and capability of scientific expression. The Master's thesis is usually 60-90 pages in lenght.

Further information 

The thesis also includes a maturity test, an essay written on the theme of the thesis. The maturity test will be examined both by the thesis examiner for its content, and by a language expert for the academic language (English/Finnish/Swedish).

Independent writing and individual supervising given by the research supervisor.
