Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with concepts of project work and project management. Another aim is to be able to plan a public health project.

Contents

Planning a project and writing a project plan, risk analysis, implementation, budget, managing a project, project evaluation, reporting.

Modes of study

The concepts and project phases will be learned through problem-based tasks, which will be discussed in discussion areas in Moodle. The course literature (e-books) includes information for students to be able to answer the tasks. The main task for each student/pair of students is to write a project plan.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Pass/fail.
Participation and assignments are graded pass/fail.
