KKRA1A2 BEGINNERS' FRENCH COURSE II 3 ECTS

Beginners' French Course I or equivalent skills (A1 language proficiency level).

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students will
- understand and be able to use short and simple expressions in easy everyday situations (topics related to family, work, hobbies and immediate surroundings)
- be able to communicate in simple situations
- understand clear and easy everyday text
- be able to discuss everyday topics and everyday life with simple sentence structures both orally and in writing

Contents

Grammar will be taught from the coursebook and from handouts (complex participle, "aller"+infinitive, the future tense, interrogative sentences, "il faut...", possessive pronouns). There will be exercises on oral expression and conversations, and exercises to improve pronunciation, speech and listening comprehension. The French lifestyle and culture will be introduced as well.

The grade is based on active participation and on the average grade between an oral and written exams.
