Learning outcomes

To master the basic vocabulary, phrases and grammar of the Dutch language. To understand somewhat easy Dutch in spoken and written forms, and to acquire the skills to use oral and written Dutch in everyday situations. To become familiar with the society and culture of the Netherlands and Flanders.

Contents

Somewhat easy texts related to everyday life. Basic vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation of the Dutch language. Information about the society and culture of the Netherlands and Flanders.

Modes of study

Class participation, oral and written exercises, and a final examination.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by exercises and final examination.
