To get acquainted with the research process and learn by doing, starting from planning the research and ending in reporting the research.

Contents

The student writes a thesis which demonstrates his/her familiarity with its topic, command of the required research methods and ability to write scientific texts.

Approbatur-laudatur.

Further information

The student may include in the advanced studies of information studies a three month practical training which aims at writing a Master’s thesis oriented towards the working life. The practical training period must be agreed upon in conjunction with drafting the research plan of the thesis. The practical arrangements of the training are the same as in the practical training of the intermediate studies.
