Learning outcomes

The course reviews common applications of text mining methods in the biomedical domain from a user perspective. The objective is to become acquainted with this relatively new research area within bioinformatics.

Contents

Literature and ontology resources, text retrieval, information extraction, adaptation of text mining to the biomedical domain.
