General description

In the seminar students present their thesis plan and the thesis work at different stages and critically read and comment the work of others.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student:
-knows the most common research practices in public health and is able to apply them in writing his/her study plan and Master’s thesis
-is able to comment the scientific work of and can utilize feedback given by others
-is able to orally present his/her scientific work

Contents

-themes related to the practical writing of the master’s thesis
-working with and presentation of one’s own thesis
-reading and critically commenting seminar papers written by other students
