Learning outcomes

To become familiar with the basics of intercultural communication and to apply them to Finnish-German communication. To improve cultural mediator competence.

Contents

Theory and practice in intercultural communication. Topics from economy, school and university life, cultural exchange and international cooperation.

Modes of study

Class participation, exercises, independent studying, a group project and a final project. Alternatively a book exam.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by written exam and project or book exam.
