Learning outcomes

To master the research questions and methods of one’s own field and to apply the basics of academic work to own thesis. (See the faculty’s Finnish instructions for writing a thesis at: http://www.uta.fi/laitokset/kielet/yht/opiskelu/tutkielmat.html).

Contents

An independent thesis filling the academic criteria, written in German.

Modes of study

A written thesis of approximately 60-80 pages, consulting with instructor, presenting the thesis in a pro gradu seminar.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Approbatur-laudatur.
Evaluation by method used, subject handling, clarity and consistency, and correct language.
