Learning outcomes

To introduce students to the development of Latin America. To broaden students' vocabularies.

Contents

This course focuses on Latin American history and society from the start of the 20th century to our time.

Modes of study

Class participation and an examination. Can also be completed by taking an exam on C. Malamud's América Latina, siglo XX: La búsqueda de la democracia.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by examination or book exam.
