After completing the course the student will be able to - locate social psychiatric research in the domain of public health research - describe the present state of two specific fields in social psychiatry - discuss current challenges and action plans for local and global mental health promotion - describe the Finnish system for tertiary prevention of mental disorders or the corresponding system in the country of the student’s origin - find information about NGOs in the mental health domain and be able to describe the input of these in mental health promotion
