Contents

This course is combining approaches of nationalism studies, International Relations and history to conflict resolution, The course examines questions connected with nationalism and national identity, civilizational identities ontological security and the past politics. It aims to discuss how conflicts are often also about struggles over identities. Furthermore, classical approach to conflict resolution is introduced and discussed how identity related questions are noticed for example in consociational peace agreements. New approaches for conflict resolution is sought for.
