The extensive syllabus of mathematics in upper secondary school.

Learning outcomes

To enhance the students’ ability to solve problems, their spatial perceptive skills and drawing technique.

Contents

The emphasis is on the geometrical problems related to the curves, surfaces and bodies of three-dimensional space, especially focusing on their spatial perception while less attention is given to solving equations. The course involves drawing by hand.

Teaching methods

Lectures, weekly exercises and project work. The amount of tuition depends on the number of credits awarded for the course.

Two optional modes: 1) active participation and exercises or 2) written examination on books.

Evaluation

Pass/fail.
