Learning outcomes

To introduce students with the legislation and general doctrines of social law. To give elementary knowledge about internationalization of social security systems.

Contents

Basic concepts and general principles of social law. The contents of social law: social insurance, categorical social benefits, social assistance, social services, and public health care. Economic and social rights. The co-ordination of social security in international law. Regulation relating to social security and to social protection in the EU.
