General description

The Cancer Biology course focuses on the basic principles of the development and progression of cancer.

Learning outcomes

he students will be familiar with the main aspects of cancer biology and understand how different external and internal factors contribute to cancer development. They recognize the key processes involved in cancer progression and identify the principles of cancer therapy. Students are also able to critically evaluate and interpret data from cancer research literature.

Contents

The course will cover basic information on various aspects of cancer biology including the initiation and progression of cancer, cancer genetics, cancer diagnosis and pathology, cancer epidemiology, and cancer etiology.
