Learning outcomes

To introduce students to the basics of the special fields in law and administration.

Contents

Introducing the legal and administrative systems in Finland and in Russia, reading and processing special-field texts of law and administration, familiarisation with sources of information, increasing basic terminology, specifics of factual and official languages.

Teaching language

Russian, Finnish

Modes of study

Class participation, exercises and a written exam. Compulsory for students intending to proceed to Advanced Studies. Optional for those taking the course VEAK20 and not intending to proceed to Advanced Studies.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Grade based on active participation, exercises and exam.
