Learning outcomes

The aim is to give student a basic knowledge on the modernisation processes in Nordic Countries c. 1800 - 2000 AD.

Contents

The unit gives insights to industrialization, nationalism, socialism, the emergence of the civic society, and social issues such as labour and gender.
