General description

Consists of SPOLA1A and SPOLA1B.

Learning outcomes

Students become familiar with the theoretical outlines of social policy and its social and political activity environments, as well as with the current discourse on socio-political theory and the trends of change.
The aim is that students learn to understand:
- how social reality is organised in social policy
- what the economic and political prerequisites of social policy are
- what social rights are and how they affect the economy and social policy
- how social policy is practiced in different activity environments, such as civic movements, NGOs, representative organs and with authorities.

Modes of study

Literature examinations on faculty examination days.
