Learning outcomes

The module familiarises the student with those fields of contemporary logic which are particularly relevant to philosophy.

Contents

The module focuses on the main themes of philosophical logic, such as the structure and the philosophical problems of propositional and predicate calculus, provability and truth, and modal logics. Special attention is paid to logical concepts and theories that are relevant to all studies of philosophy.
